⁷ then I will let you live in this place, in the land^(A) I gave your ancestors^(B) for ever and ever. ⁸ But look, you are trusting^(C) in deceptive^(D) words that are worthless.

⁹ “‘Will you steal^(E) and murder,^(F) commit adultery^(G) and perjury,^[a](H) burn incense to Baal^(I) and follow other gods^(J) you have not known,
